These 4 Fonts are Perfect for Easter Pens

So you've decided to go with Easter pens this season. We think it's an excellent idea, especially if you personalize them with amazing messages.

Of course, before you order a bunch of Easter pens, you have to make sure everything's on point. A big part of that is the font or fonts you'll be using to make sure your pen design stands out.

Don't worry. We've done the hard bit for you. Check out these 4 font Easter ideas for your personalized pens.

1. Lato

Google "Easter fonts" and you'll no doubt find loads of options including free ones with fun, very-Easterish elements such as bunnies, eggs, and chicks. They're actually a great idea for Easter cards, flyers, invitations, etc.

The problem with these fonts, however, is they may not render well on pens since you're working with very limited space. As we've said in our FAQs, we recommend a maximum of 3 to 5 lines with up to 35 characters per line for plastic pens. For laser engraved metal pens, we suggest you don't go over 2 lines.

If you want something that gives off a warm-feeling, something that's easily recognizable even when set at small sizes, you can't go wrong with Lato, a sans-serif font designed by Lukasz Dziedzic.

Lato is free to download and has been consistently ranked as one of the best sans-serif fonts.

2. Allura

Fan of calligraphy? If yes, you'll love this font. Best of all it pairs well with the Easter ideas you might have for your personalized pens.

Created by award-winning typographer and graphic designer, Rob Leuschke, Allura or Allura Regular is a simple and clean font, unlike other calligraphy fonts such as Vivaldi or Viner Hand ITC. Plus, even if it's highly stylized, it's still very legible.

This would be a good font to pick if you're thinking of putting short Bible verses on your pens.

3. Trajan

Trajan has been called "the noble serif" and "the world's oldest typeface." There's even a collection of essays, published by the MIT Press, that hints at why designers and artists keep coming back to this font.

Trajan is a classically styled typeface designed by Carol Twomby in 1989. Though not as ubiquitous as Helvetica, it's been widely used in corporate and apparel logos.

This would also be a good option if you want your Easter pens to bear bible verses or if you simply want something that has a truly classical feel.

4. Palatino

Here's another oldie but goody font. It's named after Giambattista Palatino, an Italian calligraphy master.

One of the reasons why it's such a popular font is it's elegant and versatile, not to mention very easy to read. It's also the reason why it's a common typeface for book copy.

Since it's a wide font, it renders great on small spaces. It would certainly make a good impression if you use this font for your personalized Easter pens.
